Catch Up Premium

This year ( 2020/2021) the government has given schools a small amount of money to use to suport children in making up the lost learning time caused by the National Lockdown and periods of isolation since then. 

Our school has been given £32,640.

Our data analysis indicates that our children need support to catch up with reading and writing.

As a result we are choosing to use our Catch Up Premium to fund one additional Reading Assistants each afternoon.

We are also choosing to fund a 20 hour a week teacher to enable writing conferencing to take place and two Academic Learning Mentors to support Catch up in Year 1 and Year 6.
