Apply for a place

If your child is approaching their fourth birthday you may be thinking about enrolling them at Fishponds CE Academy. 

This year, we will be holding five open events. During our school tours you will be able to have a look around our school and facilities, get to know our Reception staff and have a chat with our headteacher.

During our 'Stay & Play' events you and your child are invited to come and spend some time in class. You will be able to see what the children are learning and gain a deeper insight into how our Early Years provision runs.

How to Apply

If you would like to apply for a Reception class place for your child to start in September, you will need to apply through Bristol City Council. 

All in-year admissions are managed directly by the school. Please contact us or complete our application form. 

Appeals

If you're refused a place for your child at your preferred school you have the right to appeal against the decision of the admissions Authority. Appeals must be made through the Bristol City Council appeals process.
